** Testimonial for the Week**
Wanting to isolate and crawl into a private little cave is very SS.
Isolation
is a major challenge for me and so I made a promise to myself. When I
start
having "done to, why me, unworthy, unlovable and fat feelings" and
they show up
in my journal for 2 days in a row, I send out a cry for help. Every
time I
have done that the results have been magical. Not just in terms of
support,
understanding and love, but practical step by step instructions about
what to do to
feel better again. This Community will carry me and you when we can't
walk
and they will never let us down.

**Your Last Diet: More Than What You Think**
Last week's chat on YLD was about how to get back after a wobble, slip or relapse. This week we will be talking about the art of the 7th Step and how it emerges over time.

**Radiant Ambassadors**
We have two great stories this week.
The Rocky Mountain news has a spotlight section, kind of like a magazine, and Tuesday is devoted to Health and Fitness articles. The editor of this section, Lisa Ryckman, does very good articles and I usually read them. She does a lot of stories on diet. So I thought this would be a good place for an article on Little Sugar Addicts. When Kathleen set up the press page for Little Sugar Addicts, I e-mailed a copy of the press release to Lisa Ryckman and then I called her voice mail and told her that I had e-mailed her a press release and would she please read because it was about a book that I thought she would be interested in. I also said that I was a subsciber to the RMN and that I read her section a lot and enjoyed it. Well, I didn't hear anything from her and I e-mailed her again and left another voice mail and still I heard nothing. So then, I decided to send her a copy of the book. I mailed it to her along with a letter explaining how much this program helped me and my kids and I thought that it would really be great for people in the Denver area to know about it. I guess it worked because then she did the article! She interviewed me for the article and she was so nice and very, very interested in the program.

I am not sure if any of you are aware of the organization called Center For Science in the Public Interest. They are VERY active on the issue of sugar and kids. Here is a link to some of their reports.

I love what they have to say and think they are one of the most effective voices about changing nutrition in the country. Recently my editor wrote to the Executive Editor of CSP, Michael Jacobson, to tell him about Little Sugar Addicts and what our parents are doing on the website. If any of you would like to add to her voice, you can write Mr. Jacobson as well at cspi@cspinet.org
If you love the program, consider joining the ambassador group. We are having a blast!

Also, Kathleen is going to be showing Pepper at the Golden Retriever National Show and her trainer said to get little Pepper's coat built up. So she started her back on Missing Link. Whoa, did that stuff make her coat shine! Even I can see it and I am not the most skilled dog person in the world, LOL.
