I totally understand the "not feeling hungry through out the day". If you can carry a cell phone on you at work set an alarm for certain times of the day. When the alarm goes off, even if you are not hungry, eat a snack. I used to do that with drinking water. I would never drink at work and I used to set alarms on my computer that would remind me to stop what I was doing and drink. Now I drink water through out the day and drink nothing but water now.
Another idea - what were you using to mix your shake with. I know if I mixed it with milk I would most likely have a reaction. I like to use Unsweetened almond milk with Georges Restore. I have been doing that for close to four years.
I know for me if I had something light like Cheerios for my brown it would not be a very good thing. I need something more heavy. I like brown rice as a breakfast brown.
