Hi Rachel
Do you eat protein powder with your oatmeal? How much do you weigh? 2 eggs and 1 ounce of cheese is probably enough if you weigh between 120 and 130. My husband makes omelettes ahead of time and refrigerates them so he doesn't have to cook every morning. I make a protein shake and put everything but the oats and protein powder in the blender the night before, so in the morning, all I have to do is dump in the dry ingredients and blend.

When I lived alone, I used to cook meals that served 4 and freeze three servings so I just had to pull something out of the freezer. And I keep quick meals around, like a can of lentil soup and canned chicken, or canned fish (with cheese toast) that I can eat if I feel lazy or I'm not feeling up to cooking.

: Thanks for the reply. I feel
: confident in breakfast. It is the
: meal that is easy for me. I have
: been doing breakfast, with
: protean, for a couple of months
: now (possibly more, as i realized
: how much better this made me feel
: before picking up the book). I
: think lately my body chemistry is
: changing (and pain levels are
: fluctuating wildly). My taste in
: foods is changing, other cycles
: are going back to where they were
: when I was in my twenties.
: As I was journaling last night I
: realized that the days that feel
: overwhelming are the days when my
: pain level is 8/10 or above. I am
: going to work on pre-preparing
: meals on good days, so I don't
: even have to worry about food on
: bad days. I usually eat within the
: hour, but on bad pain days I have
: to do stretches and use a heating
: pad before I can move without
: severe pain. On those days it is
: more like 1.5 hours.
: My favorite breakfasts are:
: 2 egg omelet with mushrooms, spinach,
: and pepper jack cheese, and a
: slice of toast
: Or
: Cottage cheese with grapes and
: almonds
: Or
: Oatmeal with almond milk and fruit

: Do these seem alright?

: Thanks!
