Hi Alice
For me it depends on whom I am talking to. There was a colleague who has since quit who understood the whole thing about healthy eating, and the effect of sugar and caffeine. One time she said - yeah have some caffeine and sugar so you get a surge of energy and happiness because I will be home when you crash.
Other people have asked if I am on a diet. I say no, I am trying to eat healthy and they understand that. Some people ask if I have lost weight. I say, no, that is not my goal. My goal is to feel better physically and emotionally and they see that I do.
Some people exclaim over the healthy food I eat or ask "what is that?" in regards to an unfamiliar food I am eating. So, I tell them what the food is and just accept their own angst at the unhealthiness of their diets.
