Re: Greetings and breakfast meal question

Hi Rebecca,

I still love knowing there are other people like me who fit that sugar addict profile that Kathleen writes about in her books. And that there are so many of them here who are willing and eager to support along the way.

Your breakfast sounds like something I would enjoy too, love my Greek yogurt! Like Colette, I would say it's too low on protein for me, too. But it is a great beginning and having it earlier in the morning is a good change to make first.

I hope you keep posting here Rebecca. :h4)

: Good morning. I started reading
: TSATRP yesterday and feel a great
: sense of relief and hope and
: acceptance. My tendency is to rush
: through and skip parts, but I am
: focusing on going slowly. I am
: very happy to find this forum for
: resource and support, and I'm
: grateful.

: I started with step one today. One of
: my favorite breakfast meals is an
: oatmeal yogurt concoction: 1/4 cup
: steel cut oats, 1/3 cup plain full
: fat Greek yogurt, 2 TB flax seeds,
: 1/3 cup non sweetened applesauce,
: cinammon, 1/4 cup of milk or cream
: and 2-3 packets of stevia. I shake
: it up in a jar, leave it in the
: fridge overnight, and have it for
: breakfast in the morning. Usually
: I wait until 1030-1100 to eat it,
: but today I ate it earlier.

: Question: is this meal acceptable?
: Should I make any modifications to
: it?

: Thank you very much! :)
