Cake = Browns??
I am day 11 into sugar detox and have been doing weird things. Last week I made sugar free oatmeal cookies and yesterday apple/fig sugar free "cake". I am no big cook, so baking is like being from another planet! I wonder if I am making up for my missed sugar bomb that I was still eating daily at dinner before detox??? You can bet that I get ZERO rush from that stuff I am making.
So then I thought, since I am using whole grain flours, maybe those goodies can be considered part of my browns at mealtime. Am I just fooling myself here or what?
