Re: Moving to Step 2

: I've been doing step 1 for about

: that she could stop and pick up an
: ice cream treat on the way home.
: The next day at work, my energy

: Was it because of this ice cream? It

: know! I have never been more ready
: to start exploring the
: cause-effect relationship of what
: I eat and how I feel. I'll be
: honest. When I first read the
: book, I rolled my eyes at the
: thought of trying to do a food
: journal. I was dead-set against
: it. But now, I WANT to do it. I
: want to learn the cause-effect
: relationships of what I eat and
: how I feel. Because that will
: motivate me to change further, and
: it will give me knowledge and
: control. Control is a good thing!

Hi Craig:

If I wasn't already working on step two I would want to after reading your post! :h2) :h2) :h2) Such enthusiasm!!! It is really cool to see the cause and effect. :h26) I was clueless to it for a long time and kept asking others when I was going to see this. :s11( However, others were seeing it before I was. :h3)

Now I am more adept and am working on tracking my water. Soon, I will be working on writing in exact amounts again like I did when I first started - measuring stuff and all. I think Kathleen turned me on to doing that in a journaling class I was in - better data = better knowledge of what your body is telling you. :h11)

Good Luck, hope to see you on the step two list and of course here. :h6)
