No, Leigh, I drank caffeinated coffee all the way thorough the steps. I didnt think I would ever stop it.
but with step 6 something funny happened by itself. I didnt fancy coffee much. I was surprised. I did move it to meals at that point, having learnt that technique at step 3
where I learnt it wasnt as much fun at all as having it elsewhere That was telling. I think I was very addicted to caffeine. I did a taper as Kathleens instructions, and since then I have chosen decaf, I have some in my shake and a couple or three during the day.

What I discovered about step 3 = its got some nano steps and guidelines and yet its incredibly individual. So I dont think theres any concern with any of us doing step 3 'correctly' We experience things and learn a lot So you dont have to worry about it at all in advance. Or even when you are there ...
... I know this because I worried like mad about everything in advance and then it did just flow by itself... Ilearnt to focus on the step I was on. ( I thought that was impossible as well )
So I was impressed to read your earlier post about shakes and sharing your thoughts, asking for others experiences it was a great bit of step 1 work
