I've been doing step 1 for about 2 weeks now. I recently started waking up early feeling "good to go". It's nice to feel ready for the day, I just wish it weren't 1-2 hours before my alarm clock! I've been having more vivid dreams as well.
The only experience I've had similar to this is when I was on an ssri medication. So I KNOW my serotonin levels must be up due to my eating more protein. Since I noticed the benefits of eating protein with breakfast, and I have an energy demanding job, I've started to eat more protein with lunch and dinner as well. Maybe my brain is trying to adjust? Anyone have a suggestion for helping to sleep a little later? It's kind of a cycle, because when I'm up so early obviously I am going to want to go to sleep earlier.
