It sounds like you are being real hard on yourself Lucy. We are sugar addicts. It is our natural state to be in the middle of the stuff. That is why RR is a miracle. It shows us a different way. Personally I think we will always carry that around, but at least we now have coping tools. Be kind to yourself. Take care of your body with Step 1 and the rest will fall into line.
I have been telling my hosts this week that I am off sugar 100%. They think I am nutso based on past history, but mostly sympathetic. My friend actually went out her way to make me a special stewed apple dessert over the weekend instead of the usual sugar ladened bomb.
Be kind to yourself. Take care of your body with Step 1 and the rest will fall into line.
