I always ate quite a lot because I was trying to 'get through' to the next meal as part of a diet strategy. That didnt work well at all :s8(

so incorporating snacks as part of step 3 was revolutionary for me, I think it steadied my blood sugar a lot. I found it very settling.

So nowadays, although I dont snack all that much, I always carry something, because if my activity level goes up, or there is a risk of a delayed meal, its there.

part of it has been finding snacks that suit and are portable :h10) at home I like egg.. hard boiled, mashed in a cup with hummous

or some leftover cold meat, sweet potato with pepper. Out and about I always have some nuts with me, almonds or walnuts. Times when Ive been eating cheese I liked the little wax-wrapped babybels

be interesting to see how the snacks and bit more protein/brown work with your workouts etc
