Regressing

I had cut out nearly all sugar/caffeine/alcohol, but since I am now starting with step 1, I have found myself regressing. Although I am accomplishing Step 1 with perfection, I am slipping up in the other areas where I had made progress!! Not sure what I should do. Maybe just not worry about it too much for now and focus on Step 1? At the same time I don't want to ruin all of the good progress I made before I read the book! Advice? Thank you
