I am so glad that you have found us and are posting.
Although my belly fat has not receded - mostly because I am not moving enough and because of my age, my health has increased wonderfully. I have amazingly low (but normal) blood pressure, no diabetes and my cholesterol levels are so good I have been asked if I am a runner!
To know how many grams are in a particular food, I have checked Kathleen's books which give a good guide - PNP (Potatoes Not Prozac), SARP (Sugar Addicts Recovery Program) and YLD (Your Last Diet). YBS (Your Body Speaks) journal for step 2 also lists amounts in foods. Packaged foods list amounts. You could also google the info, but once you know the basics, everything will become easier.
How is breakfast going?
