Do you mean that rice milk is naturally too sweet because of the carbs in it?
And if using water, doesn't it make the shake too "runny"?
I prefer something thicker.
Maybe PP, water and some cooked oats?
Plus whatever additions..
About the stewed apples, yes I thought of leaving the peels on to slow down the sugar absorption. But wanted to incorporate apples into the shake, and my blender is broken, so wouldn't have been able to break down the peels, therefore removed them.
In the end, after that whole speech, I ate the apples on the side
Never mind, I'll leave the peels on next time
