Hi Allison,
Thanks for the feedback - really, so fruits should not be eaten on an empty stomach? I thought otherwise, since the fiber means your stomach can take some times to digest it efficiently.
Anyway, I hope I'll get a good appetite as well =) I don't know why I end up feeling over-full or over saturated in the evening/night. I'm even experimenting with eating dinner early, like 6 or 7 pm, but then the problem is, before bed like 10 or 11 pm for me...I want something else, I'm not sure how much of that is out of real hunger or out of habit. And usually at this time I end up eating something sweet, and maybe that's causing me not to eat next day?
Do you recommend eating a little later but not too later for the evening meal...maybe 7-8 pm, then just water or juice after that?
If I want a 'bedtime snack' Even though I'm not at this step, can I still try to eat some potato or sweet potato?
: I still eat fruit, even though I've
: been on step 7 for over 10 years.
: But I make sure to eat it with a
: meal so I'm not getting it on an
: empty stomach. I think fruit at
: breakfast would be fine, as long
: as you are getting your protein,
: and on step 1 you aren't
: eliminating sugar anyway.
: It sounds as though your body is
: adjusting to food in the morning.
: You will need more protein, but
: you can increase your protein
: slowly. most mornings, I have a
: protein shake, which I sweeten
: with fruit. I often exercise in
: teh morning, and the shake doesn't
: feel heavy or interfere with my
: exercise. When I don't have shake,
: I have an omelette. That feels
: much heavier to me, although it's
: about the same amount of protein.
: I'll bet one of these days you will
: surprise yourself and wake up
: hungry.
