Hi Sheelia,
Good job starting to eat something in the morning, even though you don't want to! That sure changed for me as I went through the steps. Breakfast was the hardest meal for me to eat.
Nice start with your breakfast meals. It really helps to start with what you can do, and add in the harder parts a bit later. Do you know how to calculate the amount of protein you need? That would be the first piece of adding protein to your meal. And yes, it's just fine to have fruit...just don't let it distract you too much from adding in the other parts of breakfast.
My daughter used to eat all of her complex carb first, and then say she was too full to eat her protein. We chatted a bit about the protein piece, and she came up with a solution all by herself. She would eat 1/2 of her complex carb first, then 1/2 of her protein...then back to her complex carb, and finish her protein. I'm sure you will figure this out too!

: well, i'll admit it...the idea of
: eating in the morning and even
: early afternoon is still
: unpleasant to me, but i'm
: surprised to find that i don't
: feel 'stuffed' or anything. i
: guess i always ride on the feeling
: of not being hungry so early in
: the day, so when i do eat
: something during this time, i am
: afraid of feeling too heavy. But I
: found some things that are really
: helping me and things I can get
: down, without feeling
: uncomfortable later...
: - rice noodle soup with some
: vegetables
: - miso soup with tofu added in
: - lentil soup, i love azuki beans the
: best and they make for naturally
: sweet flavor but also help me feel
: satisfied.
: any thoughts, ideas? i am not sure if
: this is too much carb and not
: enough protein...but for now it's
: at least something, and it's not
: chocolate bars or donuts!
: i love fresh fruits and dry, but i'm
: not sure if this is something ppl
: avoid...however if fruits contain
: so many good nutrients, could i
: eat a mixed fruit salad for when i
: wake up as well?
