Thank you Allison.
I'm confused because I can't seem to break the cycle...I have poor appetite during the day, by evening I'm ravenous and feel like even if it's something like salad, just some lettuce! I can't seem to eat slowly...it causes a lot of bloat, and then I'm just feeling un-well in general.
I just don't know why it's hard for me to eat slower....I guess I'm an emotional sugar-eater by nature, so to break this...should I practice eating around others more, even if I'm embarassed to do it at first? And maybe force myself to eat more things that I don't like...maybe with time, and habit, the practice of eating will become slower for me?
: I think it's a great idea to take
: some time with step 1 - in fact,
: that's what we want everyone to
: do. The steps work best if you
: take them slowly and take the time
: to be really steady in each one
: before moving on to the next. And
: no one here will ever tell you you
: should know better. I found that
: what worked best for me was to
: look at everything as a learning
: experience instead of beating
: myself up for any
: "mistakes" I made.
