: you guys are fantastic for your
: continued support and all the
: encouragement. But, I'm still
: afraid I am really having a hard
: time.
: it's so hard knowing what on earth I
: should have. I'm just so used to
: the sugar in everything and I
: don't know how to stop it.
: Some people say to just have what I'm
: craving all the time, and I'll get
: 'sick of it.' I don't know what
: your opinions are on this, but I
: have tried it and it never works.
: I don't seem to know moderation at
: all when it comes to the sugar. I
: can't say no after one bite, one
: taste, even one sip..of a very
: sweetened drink.
: My biggest challenges are with drinks
: actually. Not sodas, but more like
: coffee/tea drinks that have added
: sugar and milk. It just triggers
: me to eat/drink even more sugar
: and I'm just feeling like this is
: a dream goal that will take eons
: to achieve...being able to stop
: the sugar.
: I am forcing myself right now to have
: milk and cereals/oats for when I
: wake up, but the problem is, I
: HATE eating in the morning. It's
: still really uncomfortable for me
: because I have no appetite...is
: this normal? Is it because of the
: sugar that I don't really feel
: hungry until later in the day?
I find eggs are a better breakfast than cereal/oats and milk. I make a big scramble of sauteed red & green peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach about 1/4 cup of black or red beans, then add 2-3 whisked eggs. I add cayenne pepper to it too. I make and put it in a container and take it to work with me so it's ready to eat when I am. Try this or a higher protein meal for your breakfast rather than oats, it works for me.
