new to the program
I bought this book for myself for my 50th birthday 2 weeks ago. I've been reading and implementing the steps as I read. I may have 'jumped ahead' because I already eat a lot of veggies and browns. I tried Tim Ferris' 4-Hour Body slow-carb diet which worked really well for me for about 3 weeks, but after the 3rd 'cheat day' I couldn't get back off the sweets. I believe this program will do me better. I've set my detox date for September 6th, the 1st of 4 days off from work. Wish me luck! I truly want to be a role model for others that I KNOW would benefit from this plan.
