Glad you mentioned the responses to Junk Food. That is exactly how I feel. Somehow I got to the step before sugar detox and decided to have sugar with my meals. Then I started having deserts at every meal, thinking as long as I had it with a meal it would be ok. Then I started eating a pint of Hagen Daz red raspberry with vanilla. With the recent hot weather ice cream was refreshing. But after eating a pint I would lay on the bed and just want to sleep. Sort of passed out actually and woke up in a fog. Then I would want more. I wasn't clear thinking anymore, everything seems overwhelming. And I would just get lazy and sort of fatalistic. With an attitude that nothing will change. I debated whether it was the ice creme or just my thinking. I get that way everytime I overload on alot of carbohydrates. Now it has been two days without ice creme , I just threw out all I had in the frige the other night. Didn't save it for the neighbor, because I knew I would have an late night binge. I need something else to comfort me. But yes, I agree that the feelings after a sugar high are being lethargic, foggy head, sort of dazed, etc.
