Thanks Allison and Colette,
Yes i am working on more vegetables but had been making timings and the nightime issues my current nanos. I have been eating whole grain bread, crackers and pasta but will also try to work more of the others in. I don't eat any white stuff.
Last night my son got me up and after about a half hour, I had a George's shake -just shake and whole milk. I went back to sleep and an hour later I was woke up again and felt very irritable and had completely sugar crashed. So what do I need to do, increase the protein in a nighttime shake or increase the brown? My mealtime requirement has crept up to 30g of protein and the shake doesn't equal that.
Thanks again,
Laureen
: Laureen,
: Have you ever tried have whole grains
: or legumes instead of bread,
: crackers and pasta? I'm not sure
: of the reason, but whole grains
: seem to hold me better...brown
: rice, quinoa, oatmeal, lentils,
: pintos, etc. A suggestion would be
: to add another serving of brown
: along with your George's shake,
: and see if that makes a
: difference. What kinds of things
: are you adding to shake?
: Also, you don't give amounts, so it
: is hard to get an idea if you are
: eating enough. 2 Tacos would not
: be enough food for me, and so
: waking up at 2 would make
: sense....just not enough food for
: the night. It also looks like you
: eat pretty early...5 - 5:30. I
: would probably need to add an
: extra protein / complex carb snack
: before bed, to make it through the
: night.
