: Thursday morning I'm scheduled to

: I suppose one missed breakfast won't
: totally mess up my blood sugar.
: There's a restaurant near the
: facility where we usually stop
: after these procedures for a meal

Hi Marcy:
Yikes no breakfast is hard. I would try to eat a good meal as close to the 8 hour fast time as I could get it. Generally I when these types of things occur, I bring my morning shake with me and a yamcake. This way I have my breakfast as soon as the procedure is done. I figure they always bring you juice and a muffin afterwards so why not shake and yamcake.
You might still want to go eat at the restaurant afterwards. Nothing second breakfast to really make a person feel good.
