: you guys are fantastic for your
: continued support and all the
: encouragement. But, I'm still
: afraid I am really having a hard
: time.
: it's so hard knowing what on earth I
: should have. I'm just so used to
: the sugar in everything and I
: don't know how to stop it.
: Some people say to just have what I'm
: craving all the time, and I'll get
: 'sick of it.' I don't know what
: your opinions are on this, but I
: have tried it and it never works.
: I don't seem to know moderation at
: all when it comes to the sugar. I
: can't say no after one bite, one
: taste, even one sip..of a very
: sweetened drink.
: My biggest challenges are with drinks
: actually. Not sodas, but more like
: coffee/tea drinks that have added
: sugar and milk. It just triggers
: me to eat/drink even more sugar
: and I'm just feeling like this is
: a dream goal that will take eons
: to achieve...being able to stop
: the sugar.
: I am forcing myself right now to have
: milk and cereals/oats for when I
: wake up, but the problem is, I
: HATE eating in the morning. It's
: still really uncomfortable for me
: because I have no appetite...is
: this normal? Is it because of the
: sugar that I don't really feel
: hungry until later in the day?
Hi Sheelia:
I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. I do recommend that you save your emails because you will be amazed at how much better your life is and how sugar plays a very small part in your day.
I think you are scaring the bejeebers out of yourself If I am scared what helps me is to back up a little on my program. I would look at the four parts of breakfast and work on the easiest, funnest part. Maybe eating breakfast everyday is the place to start. Could be anything you want - just eat it every day. When that is natural and you want to have breakfast then go on to other parts of breakfast.
As you do the steps your cravings for and need for sugar will disappear naturally without any feelings of deprivation on your part. It will happen for you too. I promise
Keep connecting here and we will help you along the way as best we can. Someone told me once to remember "Faith is not a leap from A to B, it is a leap from A."
Here is to you and all the ss folks: May you leap with joy.
