Plain cream cheese has no sugars in it, but the flavored ones do. Yes, everybody here loves chocolate. But here's the deal - I've been off sugar for over nine years, and I have unsweetened chocolate in my shake every morning. Until I go through a period of being tired of my shake, and then I'll have eggs. But unsweetened chocolate has no sugar in it. I still love chocolate, it's just that the sweetened chocolate doesn't rule my life anymore.

Don't worry about the sugar or the sweeteners. Only focus on the step you're on. What step are you on? If you're on step 1, just do step 1 and eat whatever you want the rest of the day. And proceed onward the way the steps are written. You won't believe me now, but the food starts to take care of your intense and seemingly-uncontrollable desire for sweet things. I promise. It ceases to become a question of control. It starts to become a question of just doing the steps.
