Hi Jeffrey:
I never added sugar back in even at the beginning of my program because I had come from a background of FAA (Food Addicts Anonymous) and hadn't been eating sugar. I really enjoy fruit and it is plenty sweet enough and satisfies my addict lol.
I did have a lot of trouble with artificial or diet sugar products. Don't know why I added those back in when I came to the program, probably cuz I was addicted I have since gotten off those sugars and if I did have any sugar (I am not perfect ), it was regular sugar. Artificial sugar is really like poison for me - makes me very crabby, irritable, and unsteady
Let us know how you do as your stomach gets back into gear and you start eating normally.
