1:15am George's shake

I am not exercising at this point however I have a 2-year old and a 5-year old that keep me running all day! And they are the reason for the shake in the middle of the night. I recently started having a shake whenever I am up with them for a half hour or more in the night. However it often takes more than a half hour to get them back to sleep so I don't usually get to that shake before my blood sugar starts dropping. I have been focusing on timings for step three but am also having trouble keeping my wake-up and breakfast times consistent as my kids wake up anywhere between 5:30 and 7:30.
I am aware that my blood sugar is causing the constant crashes but what surprised me is that I had days of productivity even though I was feeling awful and cranky. I had thought the reason I had no energy and focus was because I couldn't get my blood sugar stabilized. But that doesn't seem to be the case so what is causing that cycle? What do I do about my energy level at this point? My family needs me. I think my kids don't sleep well because their mom can't keep her act together and they don't have the consistency they need. I can't get my food right without some consistent sleep. It feels like a catch 22.
I'm sure the solutions are clear to someone with a clear head! So even though I don't like putting myself out there, I really need help and am grateful for it. Thank you.
Desperately yours,
Laureen
: HI Laureen
: Would you be willing to post a few
: days of your food? I'm wondering
: if you aren't eating enough, or
: your meals are too far apart. Lots
: of crashing sounds like a blood
: sugar issue to me, and when blood
: sugar is wonky, so are emotions.
: Also let us know if you are
: exercising, how much etc.
