Re: Breakfast
In Response To: Re: Breakfast ()

Hi Kathleen,
I have been working on the steps for about 6 months, journaling seriously and consistently for 3. My answer to this question was actually obvious to me as soon as I posted. I hadnt been paying attention to ME as much as I was paying attention to tradition. I did some thinking back to what my favorite breakfast has always been. I had to go back many years. I havent been a cereal eater for years, although I do like warm cereals. My favorite breakfast is fried potatoes and bacon or ham. Why had I not been eating that? Silly me. lol
I also took a memory from my lactose intolerant brother's life. He always ate his grapenuts with orange juice not milk. I may try to revise that for myself. Adding a bit of orange extract to my grains.
This morning I had turkey sausage patties and home fries (with salsa). I feel happy, and contented. If I want millet or quinoa for breakfast, I will not make them as a cereal. I will make them as a side dish, using salsa or some sauce like that.
