Hello!
I hear you, and I have been where you are! However, I didn't find this program until I was 50 years old, so you will have an advantage by starting to make changes in your precious life far earlier than I (and many, many others!) started.
The amazing thing is that although I was someone who used to make frosting by the kitchen-aid-mixer-bowl-full, (and with a half-cup of cocoa, too) it has been four and a half years since a lick of it crossed my lips! In fact, I haven't thought of it as food in years. I see it, but I don't see it as something that has anything to do with me, if you know what I mean. Right down the hall from my desk there is a pile, (and I mean pile!) of stuff covered with it, but now I couldn't care less.
And you're right. There is a different way, where one can have simple, healthful eating, without the sugar insanity. It's not too late...just find your way to the breakfast list and hop on board! You'll find support to help you stay on the track that you choose.
Glad you're willing. That means you'll succeed!
Best always,
Susan S
: I hate this way of living. I can't
: stop after a small bite of
: frosting, cake, the list goes on
: and I am just a haywire,
: overdriven mess because the
: cravings literally take over me.
: I'm sorry to complain. I need to get
: this out of my system and I feel
: its the only place I can be
: understood.
: So...on a more positive note...is it
: possible to still recover? I hope
: i'm not too late...i'm 28, and I'm
: willing to handle it all - the
: brutal tough love / criticism,
: anything it takes to keep me on
: track. I know relapses are natural
: but I just don't want to give up.
: Life's too precious and I want to
: just have simple, healthful eating
: that can prevent the sugar
