Hi Bexi
I don't do well with cow's milk or soy milk either Almond or oat milk isn't real milk and will not affect you the way real milk does. I find unsweetened almond milk with PP, and a banana very tasty. Lately I bought some totally unsweetened cocoa and it is really quite lovely in shake. I have not yet tried "green things" in my shake. That will be a new adventure some day lol.
Going off sugar all the way or even a dramatic reduction can make a person very crabby. I know
I am glad you are here and posting. You will feel better if you add back the sugar and then just concentrate on the four parts of breakfast. You know what they are?

Enough protein for one's weight
A complex carb (you choose the type and amount)
You don't need to work on all four parts at once. Choose the easiest and work from there.
