Breakfast in August

:h9) impromptu date with Darling Man
:h9) walking all the way up a very long, steep escalator and getting that feeling that comes from going beyond my comfort zone

Hi all,
I took the metro to DC after work Friday to join Darling Man who was there on business and got to walk up the 3rd longest escalator (204 ft) in the metro system. I walk escalators and steps every day I commute but never that much at once. Felt good to be able to do it and makes me want to do more :h4)
We watched a movie in the room (didn't say it was an exciting date) and went out for a great breakfast today before taking the metro home. I haven't pushed myself beyond my comfort zone exercising in months and had forgotten how good it feels.

August 17 breakfast: shake (too thick)
*enough protein: yes protein powder, brazil nuts, peanutbutter
*brown: yes 1/2 cup oats
*w/i hour: up 6:30 shake 7:15
*greens: 1/2 cup steamed kale, 1/2 cup chop bok choy (and there's still more)
*everyday 16/17

August 18 breakfast: creamed spinach & mushroom omelet, wg toast, naked hash browns (no skin)
*enough protein: yes, 3 eggs and a bit of cheese
*brown: the toast was very hearty, a nice surprise, made up for the potatoes
*w/i hour: I knew this would be an issue to took trail mix with me and ate that before.
up 7:40, trail mix 8:00, eggs etc 8:45.
*greens: the creamed spinach was amazing!
*everyday: 17/18
