What is a yam cake??

here is a link to set you on your way :h11)

I cant really tell you my recipe as I havent done the same thing twice :h6) I'm more of a fling it all in and see cook

but my favourites have been = adding a seed mix, done coffee and walnut several times in different proportions ( favourite but a bit moreish) and also tried grated cheese and cayenne pepper which was interesting! I liked it!

I dont use oats, but get quite an interesting texture from baking grated carrot into the mix. Otherwise, gram flour, or both. Sometimes adding an egg. So its pretty versatile idea. I have not done anything inedible yet :h19)

I make a big batch before travel, use some for packed lunch and freeze the rest when I get there. Always saving some for the return journey .

Ive been lucky and always had a freezer available, except when we went to Venice and they did survive a short stay.
