My breakfast has been the same for a while now.. I eat about 1 cup of wild rice, 1 c of mixed vegetables , put salsa on top and then I eat some protein which is 3 meatballs. I really like this breakfast. It actually tastes sweet. The rice is brown with some barley and a black rice. Then now I will eat a Hagen Das ice creme bar with vanilla and rasberry and chocolate on the outside.
Thinking maybe have a berry smoothie for breakfast , as it is so hot. Just don't want to do any dishes.
Good news is being on this program has stabilized my sugar and my glucose readings are normal ,as well as my A1C. And this is despite my recent sugar cravings. But I am looking for it to go up if I don't stop.
