Breakfast today was George's Restore shake with almond milk, blueberries, spinach and oatmeal, plus a whole wheat bagel thin with peanut butter and sugar free marmalade.
As for weight gain, I think mostly I was in a state of panic yesterday. So far I've gained only 1/2 lb., but I'm 'feeling fat', also angry and scared. I'm usually pretty even - the first 3 weeks of writing had lots of 'contented' in them. Maybe I'm just getting more in touch with what's really there??
As for the rest of the day, I've been on 3 meals a day with nothing in between for 30 years. After about 10 years, the 3 meals were more like 3 banquets a day - I was hungry all the time and the meals were like 'get out of jail free'! Well, I haven't always been able to stick to the 'nothing in between' all the time since then, but it's been fairly easy for much of the past couple years. Since I started with RR, I've been trying to incorporate adequate protein into all my meals, not just breakfast. (I ate a lot of pasta and would sometimes wonder if there was any protein at all in some meals.)
