Breakfast in August

:h9) Seeing the Joan Miro exhibit at the National Gallery of Art with hubby.
:h9) Getting caught in a downpour (felt good in the heat)
:h9) Seeing a vulture (one of my totem animals) perched in the metro parking garage - we guessed it was getting out of the rain

Hi All,
When I was a kid, mom took us to the Pink Palace Museum in Memphis, Tennessee and I picked out a small book with pictures of Joan Miro's art as a souvenir. I don't remember if we had seen his work at the museum or not (I thought Joan Miro was a woman) So when I read about the exhibit in DC I wanted to go see it as an adult. I didn't have any big revelation about why I chose that book as a child but I did like the exhibit and learning about the artist.

Had shake for breakfast, with spinach and had lots of energy for walking around DC. I slept in today and had breakfast as soon as I got up.
