Kari thanks for sharing about the good that martial arts brought you!

I was guided towards chi walking by radiant friends :h11) It helped a lot. The book I chose was Chi Walking by Danny Dreyer and there are some you tube videos that I have found helpful too.

my other exercises came about when I had plantar fasciitis and they were very healing. But they seem to help me get in touch with my extremities :h6) I have patellar tracking syndrome and they have been helpful for that as well.... I am sure its all connected. Like how I used to ignore my bodys signals? well I was good at ignoring all my ambulatory and skeletal signals as well I guess.

I do know for sure that with this, and shoes that are better for me my gait has improved a lot. Not that anyone would ever have guessed... its quite subtle.... but as we discover, those little changes mean alot

I'm sure its been learning to listen thats been a breakthrough with all this.

I use a tea towel on the carpet and scrunch it up with my toes. Although I am so used to this these days I dont need the tea towel and do a good scrunch without it. Its good for my arches... but also good for that awareness of where my feet are. This is a big deal for me. I'm sure there is someone out there who understands this statement, like I say, theres nothing unique that someone else doesnt share :h5)

I also do a standing leg stretch that is really good for my knees. Everything is very baby steps here for me.
