Yes I can. I have a wonderful husband that has a sweet tooth but not ss. At first he would say try this, taste this always wanting to share with me any new candy out. At first I would say at my meals, that satisfied him. I told him one day I will give up sugar. I don't think he believed me. It took me a few years but I did heal and I no longer needed/wanted sugar. Now my sweetie Eats his sweets without me. It worked itself out.
: Mine, thin as a rake, has a
: cabinetful of sweets, which he
: likes to eat during the obligatory
: tv session every evening.
: Husband: would you like a piece of
: chocolate?
: Me (already having eaten my after
: dinner treat of a fruit): No,
: thank you.
: Husband sighs audibly. Puts a
: martyred look on his face, does
: not stand up to get his sweets.
: Me: you get one. Don't mind me. I am
: fine.
: Husband, unconvincingly: no, I am all
: right. His face tells another
: story.
: Me: ok, then, just a tiny bit.
: Husband goes through to kitchen,
: brings big bar of chocolate, hands
: me half. Now, I am weak, what
: happens? Yes, you guessed it. I
: eat it.
: Anyone recognize the situation?
