thanks for that support, sky. like all of us, i guess, i'm trying to straddle that line between a strict interpretation of the steps and what my own body and my history with food is telling me. hearing your experience with that natural shift to want what's best for our bodies is reassuring and lets me breathe a little easier.
: Jenna - for what it's worth, you can
: already start experiencing the
: individuality of this program. For
: while there are hard-and-fasts
: (breakfast within the hours, for
: example) you can also move through
: the steps in a way that is right
: for you. I say this because the
: carbs I was having started off
: pretty white for breakfast (my
: regular store-bought, sugar-y
: cereal, white-flour bagels, toast
: of whatever bread I was buying
: then - probably a flour mix with
: some kind of sweetener.)
: Then as I got further into the steps
: I just naturally start to shift
: more towards the
: "browner" and then the
: "fully brown" part of
: the carb spectrum for part of my
: breakfast.
: Glad you're here!
