One of the many wonderful things about this program is that it is meant to be do-able and flexible. What I found is that the grams of sugar added to most of those meats really weren't that bad...like 1-2 gms, and I was able to relax about it. Meats really are a wonderful source of protein, and if the ones you are buying are working for you right now, enjoy!!

If you have specific things you are looking for, ask here and someone might have a great alternative. My daughter enjoys Applegate naturals sliced meats. The turkey has no sugar in the ingredients, but the ham has evaporated cane syrup in the ingredients. The interesting thing about this is that in the nutrition information, there are 0 carbohydrates, so that amount of cane syrup isn't even registering.
