Re: Just found out I have a gluten intolerance, stressing

Hi Cam,

Many people in the community are gluten intolerant, so once again, you are not alone!

So glad to hear the program has been helping you. My suggestion for the gluten free would be to start slowly, just like the rest of the program. Figure out gluten free foods for one meal, like breakfast, and when you get that down, then add in gluten free for another meal. It is amazing what is available now, compared to 20 years ago...actually things have changed dramatically in the last 10 years.

Here's some of my favorite gluten free breakfast ideas. I like to cook up buckwheat cereal, and add chicken and spices. If you like oats, there are gluten free oats available. Sweet potatoes are another fun option...or any other kind of potatoes. If you like legumes, those make for a tasty meal...I like to cook up lentils for breakfast. There are gluten free breads available, and you can see how your body does with these.

Have fun with it, and if you feel stuck, and you want something but can't find or think of an alternative, just ask. I've made gluten free waffles...my favorite mix for baking is 1/2 buckwheat and 1/2 brown rice. There are also gluten free recipes on the RR website. Have you found the recipe section yet?
