Dear Hope,

Well your name says it all -- there is Hope Hope! :h11) Lots of it. And yes you can do the program even if you don't have much money.

Other protein sources, especially if you watch for good buys, can be cottage cheese or Greek yogurt. Most cans of tuna have enough protein too. And you can 'mix and match' so you are eating maybe half your protein in eggs and half in yogurt, etc. Sometime I find chicken breasts on sale for 99c a lb, and if there isn't any bone, a lb. will make at least 3 breakfasts for you.

Oatmeal is a great economical brown, as is brown rice and probably some other less known grains are pretty inexpensive too.

Over time, you will probably find that your eating habits change enough that it really isn't more expensive to eat for an RR program, you will just be spending your money on different foods, but at first it is a little challenging.

At the top of this forum page there is a tab titled, "Make Connections," with an option under if for joining online groups. You might like to join the Step 1 group -- they are really marvelous about solving breakfast problems!

Good luck and keep talking to us about how you are doing!
