Hello All,
I just want to say how grateful I am to Kathleen and others for getting me to adopt "beginner's mind" and begin doing step one. I haven't changed anything but that, eating breakfast (all four parts) and already I feel more stable mood throughout my day.
I started out by jumping the gun and trying to give up everything all at one time, and eat a potato, and take vitamins, and I felt like I was going to crawl out of my skin!
Now, I've just taken on breakfast, and done the rest of my normal day, including an alcoholic drink around 5pm. I feel so stable and peaceful doing it this way! I don't care how long it takes me to get to step two. I'm happy and pleased to just be doing an adequate breakfast! (I was another one who never ate breakfast other than coffee.) I wouldn't trade this feeling for any amount of diets in the world. thanks Kathleen and thanks to you all. (this MAY be saving my marriage!)

PS I'm on day 14 and have done the four parts every single day, except for today I was still eating my oatmeal when time ran out!
