Hey Allison, I just want to encourage you if you would like to get your drawing love back. I had an elderly friend a few years ago who used to go to an art class once a week and she had been going for a few years when she showed me her drawings. I saw an enormous change in the beginning ones (and she was definitely a beginner) to what she was doing at the time she showed me.
And when I was 21 years old I got Rubella and couldn't work for a couple of weeks and a friend lent me "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" and I was amazed at what I achieved by just looking at my subject differently.
I am feeling so much better going through the steps that I have just joined a drawing class so I guess I am a little enthusiastic about it too.
Thank you for your posts too. I really like reading them.
Happy day
Fiona
