Joy dot: finding all the lovely new plants in my new home
I'm taking the day off today from *moving*. The house we bought is a bit of a fixer-upper, so my focus has been on making this new place liveable.
I'm so thankful for this program, and for the good habits I have established over the years. I'm eating well, and know that food may have been the first thing to go at this *busy* time, if I hadn't found this program. I know I need to eat, even when I'm not hungry...even when I'm tired, and hot, etc. I need to prepare, and not just *grab* stuff. I've been adding in planned snacks for the extra work and stress involved, and I actually am feeling pretty good.
I had a meltdown the other day with my dh, most of it just from being physically tired. I was able to come back, think about it, talk about it, and move on. I didn't pout for days, or blame it all on him. I did / do feel a bit frustrated that I can't *do it all*, but there are skills I don't have yet, and learning to do them on this house isn't the right time.
Anyway, just wanted to touch base here since I've been missing *being* with you all!
