Many of us use protein shakes. I use the George's Restore protein powder, which is whey protein isolate, which doesn't contain lactose or casein, but there are totally dairy free protein powders available - there's one available in the store on this website. I use almond milk, and then add oats and some fruit. I do add some cottage cheese and greek yogurt, but those are not necessary additions. A shake is an easy way to get in protein in the morning - I get up early to exercise and don't really want a lot of solid food at that point. Let us know what you try.

: Hi
: I've just read the 'your last diet'
: book and it makes sooooo much
: sense to me. I know it's going to
: take a while but that's OK.
: I'm a little stumped on the breakfast
: thing but I'll spend today working
: that out. I converted from 'white'
: to 'brown' generally a while ago
: so that bit doesn't bother me.
: It's working out how to get that
: much protein in the mornings I'm
: not quite sure about. I'm also
: dairy free at the moment so that
: limits me a little (no cheese or
: yoghurt). I don't have time to be
: cooking things in the mornings -
: so I'm just going to have to work
: out things I can make the day
: before to eat for breakfast.
: On the other hand I'm already a keen
: journaller so will start that bit
: now anyway. I know the programme
: says to focus on stage 1 - but I
: know myself and will get more from
: this if I journal straight away so
: I can see my progress and
: patterns.
: Looking forward to making progress!
