breakfast
I'm starting on Step 1, getting an adeqate amount of protein into my breakfast. I already eat a pretty good breakfast, and usually with some protein, but I can see I'm going to need more (20 gms) than I usually include. But I have high cholesterol, and lots of the standard choices--bacon, sausage, eggs, cheese--would not be good for me. Does anyone have some alternate, lower cholesterol suggestions? I have looked at turkey bacon and turkey sausages in the market, but corn syrup and/or sugar are included in the ingredients (I know that at this point I shouldn't be worrying about having a little sugar in my meals, but I just do not like having sugar in the morning); and I've tried low-fat cheese, but its consistency and taste turn me off.
