My favorite weather is light rain or light sun.
I don't mind looking wimpy so I carry ice water bottles and use them as coolers in the car. I also use a small foam ice chest. I put in ice and hand towels which I use to cool the steering wheel and my head.
We have had some 109 F days with bad air quality here.

I do most of my errands and gardening in the morning although last night when it cooled down to 90F, I took a short walk to the mailbox.
Shakes taste good. If I tire of munching salad stuff I throw it in the blender and drink it. I also stock up on books, magazines and engrossing dvds. I watched Judy Dench in "Ladies in Lavender " and there were cooling seaside scenes.
