Joy dot: 5 days off from work
You may gain some weight at first. Many people do, but then they lose it without effort later in the steps when they are eating less sugar and junk. And protein and carbs are healthy fuel for your body - sugar is not. My body was starving for protein when I started, and I felt so much better once I added protein.
