hello Petra,

: Welcome!. I remember giving up sugar
: all of a sudden too ... :s6(

: I learned here to focus on breakfast.
: Didn't find that easy ( As I always
: preferred the 'everything at once
: way' LOL) but I had lots of
: support :h11)

: as for the time thing.. I thought
: three weeks ought to do it myself.
: But it got to be fun finding out
: all the things that this program
: has to offer... its not
: just about the sugar.

: I felt a bit grim till I'd done all
: the steps quickly -- :h6) started
: again at step one and focused on
: just that one. By step three I
: really had turned a corner.

: here's a link you may like on
: breakfast

: what sort of breakfast are you
: choosing? Shake for me :h4) and
: jacket potato tomorrow.

Hi :h6)
What a useful link, thank you!
Well, since yesterday, I've had two fried eggs
(omelet style) with two slices of cheese and
one serving oatmeal porridge for breakfast.
Today it was really hard getting it all down.
I got so full! So tomorrow I'll definitely try something else :s8(
The reason I'm not having shakes is because it's so expensive!
I'm on a really tight budget atm, so eggs and oatmeal are a good choice... really cheap stuff :s10( lol
Potatoes are also pretty cheap, but yams and butternut squash are really expensive here... and pumpkin? Not an option..
they only sell it around Halloween..
What I find most difficult right now is calculating how much protein there is in different foods. Like I recently found out that eggs have about 6g protein. So to get enough protein in one meal I'd have to eat three eggs! That's way more than I'm capable of eating. I've got a tiny stomach :h3)
I guess I'll just have to get used to eating LOTS of food...
I am optimistic though and I even got my son to eat the same breakfast with me :h2) He is 5, and no doubt sugar sensitive just like me.. I think that tomorrow I'll have hash browns, sausage, green peas and fried eggs for breakfast :h6)
I'm so thankful I get to talk to you guys :h1)
It really helps a lot!
