Today I was running errands. I ate lunch at home at 12:30 (my usual time) right before I left. Later this evening I was standing in line to talk to a window treatment person at Home Depot (Home Base for those of you in England LOL). I knew my mealtime was getting close because my body was telling me so. I looked at my phone and sure enough it was a few minutes after 5. My mealtime is 5:30 but I really really wanted to talk to this lady. I waited a few more minutes but then realized if I waited for her to finish with this other couple and then had my time with her I would be way over due. So I decided to go eat (grabbed tacos at Chipotle) and after I ate I went back to Home Depot and met with her. In the past I would have just waited to talk with her because I would not have wanted to go back. I would have pushed my mealtime to way late. But not now. I know the importance of my timings and I know I would have not felt well at all and been really nasty if I would have waited. Feels good to put me and my eating first.
