OK. Let me tell you exactly where I am at. I do eat breakfast with protein, three meals a day (and some snacks, as I need to gain weight) with protein, browns instead of whites, and no sugar. and a potato every night before bed (3 hours after dinner.) My weak areas are: finding it hard to count my protein grams, and eating at the same hours every day. I do drink a lot of water. I was feeling steady and good when I decided to give up the gum with xylitol. I'm vegetarian, though, so maybe I really just haven't been getting enough protein. I hate charts and gram- counting, etc, but maybe it will be necessary.
Anyway, this is day 4 off the gum, and I really don't feel so bad!
Any suggestions for me?
